Research and Development of new products is one of
HIPRA's highest priorities; therefore, HIPRA dedicates
9% of sales revenue to this department.
The High Containment Biological Unit (UASBI), P3
level, is one of the most important installations
at Hipra. In the UASBI laboratories, R&D activities
are performed, with a total guarantee of security, in
the fields of Bacteriology and Virology according to
the strictest Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
regulations of the EU.
HIPRA takes an active part in several national and
international research projects in collaboration with
universities and Spanish and foreign public centres.
HIPRA actively collaborates with various entities.
