facilities of biological and pharmacological products
are constantly progressing and becoming consolidated
so as to continue being leaders in animal health.
The area assigned to production of biological
products exceeds 10,000 m2.
This modern production unit is one of the most
important in Europe; itd is comprised of three
production areas, which are completely isolated
one from another.
They
are:
Bacterial cultures,
where bacteria are grown in fermenters
Virus production
in cell cultures,
for propagation of viruses in cell cultures
Virus production
in embryonated eggs,
where viruses are grown in SPF embryonated
eggs.
