Barcelona Aquaculture Master's Students Visit HIPRA

Peixos

The visit kicked off with a corporate presentation, introducing HIPRA’s vision in the animal health prevention industry, followed by an open discussion of the importance of marketing in a pharmaceutical company.

In addition to this, the students had the opportunity to learn about all the possible work opportunities offered by private companies in the aquaculture sector, focusing on fish health.

The students then visited the R&D Department, where they saw how new vaccines for fish are developed from scratch. This was combined with a visit to the biological production plant.

At the end of their visit, all the participants pointed out how fruitful and useful it was for them to have had the opportunity of visiting a veterinary pharmaceutical company that is the reference in animal prevention.

Once again, with this educational initiative, HIPRA clearly shows its dedication and interest in training young professionals involved in the aquaculture industry, and  strengthens its commitment to prevention in animal health.
