More than 100 professionals from the poultry industry gather in Malaysia to celebrate the first regional HIPRA University on Salmonella

HIPRA Malaysia celebrated its first regional HIPRA UNIVERSITY on poultry farming. On June 14th, over 100 poultry professionals from Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines participated in the HU Salmonella, focused on food safety and adding value to eggs and chicken meat through nutritionally safe products.

The event, held at Everly Hotel in Putrajaya, featured esteemed speakers such as Professor Rohaya Ali from the University of Putrajaya, Sarah Dadang Abdullah from Malaysia's Department of Veterinary Services, and Jorge Villa, the Technical Services Manager for Aviagen in Asia. Internal speakers from HIPRA, including Shyong Wey Ong, RTMM Asia, Daniel Tolentino, TMM Philippines, and Santiago de Castro, Product Manager for the Poultry Unit, also participated in the event.

Furthermore, the event also provided an opportunity for producers to share practices to enhance Salmonella prevention and increase their level of food safety.

With this initiative, HIPRA once again reaffirms its commitment to animal health and expertise in Salmonella prevention.
