The Catalonia FP Biz awards from the Catalan Government acknowledge the company’s involvement in training local young talent.
More than thirty students are receiving training this school year at HIPRA’s facilities in Amer and Aiguaviva. They are part of the projects that, for the past six years, have linked HIPRA with high schools, allowing various groups of students each year to train alongside professionals from the biotechnology company. In fact, in 2023-2024 period, almost half (48%) of the students who completed internships at HIPRA joined the company’s workforce.
This November, HIPRA’s pioneering initiative to attract talent in the Girona region received institutional recognition at the Catalonia FP Biz Day 2025, awarded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of the Catalan Government, in collaboration with CaixaBank Dualitza. Specifically, the high shools highlighted HIPRA’s commitment to the intensive dual VET (Vocational Education and Training) model, which allows, for example, students of the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological and Related Products Manufacturing degree, as well as maintenance, administration, or laboratory technician students, to work at HIPRA’s facilities throughout the academic year.
