International experts address the challenges of avian coccidiosis at HIPRA University Coccidia

Poultry

Coccidiosis remains one of the main health and economic challenges for poultry production worldwide. With the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences on its prevention and control, 47 professionals from 23 countries participated in a new edition of HIPRA University Coccidia held at the HIPRA Campus.

During the different sessions, participants addressed key aspects related to the prevention of coccidiosis from a multidisciplinary perspective, sharing experiences related to poultry health, nutrition, management, and other factors influencing intestinal health and the productive performance of birds.

Her presentation highlighted the importance of integrating different areas of poultry production to efficiently tackle health challenges.

The event also coincided with the tenth anniversary of EVALON®, one of the vaccines developed by HIPRA for the prevention of avian coccidiosis, reflecting the company’s commitment to research, training, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
