The visit kicked off with a corporate introduction to HIPRA and a brief chat with the students, where they discussed the marketing role in pharmaceutical companies. In addition to this, the students also learned about the jobs the private company offers to the aquaculture sector. After this, the students were given a brief look at the productive cycle in a bass farm, where they were able to discuss the main critical points for preventing diseases.

The students then visited the R&D Department, where they learned how new products are researched from scratch, and the biological production plants.

At the end of their visit, the students indicated that they enjoyed the opportunity to visit a veterinary pharmaceutical company and to see the entire process of creating a vaccine for the first time.

With this educational initiative, HIPRA clearly shows its dedication to training young professionals in the aquaculture sector, and it strengthens its commitment to prevention in Animal Health.
