Evaluation of the combined effect of probiotics and coccidia vaccine in coccidian challenged broilers

Vaccines and probiotics are considered two of the novel methods to control Coccidiosis disease without dependence on anticoccidial drugs. In this research, the added protective effect of probiotics in vaccinated broilers against coccidiosis was studied.
Results showed that the combination of vaccine and probiotics had a positive impact on the zootechnical performance of the birds and on the coccidiosis lesion scoring after experimental induction of coccidiosis.
