HIPRA celebrates the third edition of the Coccidiosis Control Congress (CONCO 24) in Marrakech

On February 27th and 28th, HIPRA held for the third time the Coccidiosis Control Congress (CONCO 24), at the Jaal Riad Hotel in Marrakech (Morocco) following the success of the two previous editions. The two-day event brought together producers and technicians from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada with the aim of keeping them updated on the latest advances in the prevention of avian coccidiosis in broilers.

The city of Marrakech gathered together over 140 professionals of the poultry industry and experts on coccidiosis from around the world, sharing both their technical knowledge on this important disease and the current situation of the poultry market.

During the two days of the congress, the attendees received a valuable update on avian coccidiosis disease through a technical agenda covering interesting topics such as consumption trends and vaccination against coccidiosis at hatcheries. This included the impact of coccidiosis on the intestinal health of breeders, layers, and broilers, as well as different strategies for preventing the disease through bird vaccination.
