On October 3rd, HIPRA participated in one of the most important congress for swine industry in the Philippines, the Pinoy Pork challenge, in Manila. There was a good participation in the congress with about 600 attendees.

HIPRA was present as one of the top sponsors, not only with a representative booth but also doing the Keynote lecture, which was done by Isaac Ballarà (Swine Global Technical Manager) talking about the Role of Modern Diagnostics on Modern farming.

The lecture reviewed how different diagnosis tools are used in farms currently, and which tools could be the most relevant diagnostic tools in the future, taking into account the huge advances in artificial intelligence, point of care tests, data analytics and how new technologies included in the Precision livestock Farming can anticipate and optimize health treatments on future swine farming.
