HIPRA Portugal organized its first Coccidiosis Prevention Day in the beautiful city of Coimbra. The event brought together more than 30 veterinarians, field technicians, and managers from the main poultry companies in Portugal.

The day kicked off with an introductory speech by Alexandre Domingues (BUM Poultry) highlighting HIPRA's milestones and vision. This was followed by a presentation from Miguel Carvalho (TS Poultry) on "EVANOVO - the future of coccidiosis vaccination."

The guests also had the privilege to attend the presentation from Ellen van Eerden (PhD, MSC Animal Sciences, Senior Researcher in Poultry Nutrition at Schothorst Feed Research) who talked about Nutritional Aspects in Intestinal Health in Birds, and Luís Pantoja (RTMM Poultry) who discussed Immunomodulation in Coccidiosis Vaccination.

The Coccidiosis Prevention Day concluded with a dinner where customers had the opportunity to exchange their field experiences and ask more detailed questions to the speakers.

With this action, HIPRA reaffirms once again its position as an innovative company specialized in the prevention of avian coccidiosis, as well as in animal health in general.
