HIPRA underlines in Colombia the importance of prevention against reemerging diseases

The Manager of Technical Services of HIPRA in America, Isaac Rodríguez Ballarà gave a conference on management and control of pathologies that can reemerge with the reduction of antibiotics in the farm.
The conference addressed the key pathologies to eliminate or stabilize in the farm such as PRRS (Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome), Influenza or Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae to succeed in reducing prophylactic antibiotics in the farm, as well as the key measures for the control of the main bacterial diseases that can easily reemerge by eliminating or reducing antibiotics on the farm.
The conference fit perfectly into a seminar in which, the objective was to train and show Colombian producers and veterinarians the trends of world pig production.
The seminar was held on July 12 and 13, with the assistance of 881 professionals and producers in the industry.
