HIPRA BIOTECH SERVICES, S.A. (hereinafter, “HIPRA”), with registered office at Av. La Selva 135, 17170 Amer (Girona), Spain, and VAT number A19893163, is organizing a promotional activity titled “The Biotech Halloween Challenge” which will be held from 28th October 2025 to 30th October 2025 within the framework of the CPHI FRANKFURT 2025 congress. Accordingly, HIPRA will conduct a free random draw for promotional purposes (hereinafter, the “Draw”) under the following terms and conditions;
LEGAL TERMS
1. DURATION, DATE OF THE DRAW, AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE
This promotional activity shall be valid from 8:00 a.m. on 28th October 2025 until 4:00 a.m. on 30th October 2025 coinciding with the dates of the CPHI FRANKFURT 2025 congress (hereinafter, the “Congress”), held at Messe Frankfurt (Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany).
The selection of the winner shall take place on 1st December 2025, in accordance with the procedure set out in Clause 3 below. The winner shall be notified on the same day, 1st December 2025, by email.
The territorial scope of the Draw is international and limited to attendees of the Congress in Frankfurt. The prize shall be enjoyed in Spain and is governed by Spanish law.
2. PARTICIPATION (ENTRY REQUIREMENTS)
Participation is open to individuals of legal age, regardless of their country of residence, who are accredited attendees of the Congress. Each participant may enter only once. Participation in the Draw implies full, express, and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participants may access the full terms and conditions at https://www.hipra.com/en/cdmo-services/events, as well as at the Congress venue. Entries submitted after the promotion period, or those that do not meet the requirements, or contain false information shall be considered invalid.
Employees or professionals linked to HIPRA, as well as their direct relatives up to the second degree, are prohibited from participating.
Any participation deemed to be fraudulent or made in bad faith will be automatically disqualified. HIPRA reserves the right to exclude any entries that may, in any way, be suspected of fraud or of any irregularity in the identification of participants.
3. DRAW MECHANICS
During the Congress, participants shall be invited to take a virtual tour of HIPRA’s facilities. During the tour, participants shall have a ten (10)-minute window to locate a hidden pumpkin figure. Should a participant successfully find one of the hidden pumpkins during the tour, a photograph of their accreditation shall be taken, and their details shall be recorded to validate their participation and confirm completion of the challenge. Participants who complete the challenge shall be entitled to enter the contest and be eligible for the corresponding prize. All data shall be stored in HIPRA’s database, in full compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
One winner shall be selected from all valid entries using a random computer-based system. The winner shall be chosen on 1st December 2025 and notified the same day, 1st December 2025, via email to the contact email provided on the entry form. Two (2) emails shall be sent, spaced forty-eight (48) hours apart. Upon responding to the email, the winner’s identity shall be verified, and they shall be issued a voucher to redeem the prize along with an acceptance letter, which must be completed, signed, and returned to the contest organizers within twenty-four (24) hours. Should the selected participant fail to respond to the communication or fail to accept the prize by submitting the acceptance letter, the selection process shall be repeated up to five (5) times. If a valid winner cannot be contacted after five (5) attempts, HIPRA reserves the right to declare the Draw void, without any obligation to award the prize.
4. PRIZE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS
The prize consists of a single trip to HIPRA’s facilities located in Amer and Aiguaviva, Spain, including a guided tour. The trip includes round-trip airfare, one night of hotel accommodation, and transfers between the airport, hotel, and HIPRA facilities. HIPRA shall arrange both travel and accommodation for the winner.
The winner may choose to be accompanied; however, all costs related to the companion’s travel and accommodation — including airfare — must be fully covered by the companion. The winner shall have a maximum period of twelve (12) months, starting from the date on which they are officially notified of their status as the winner, to claim and enjoy the prize. If this period elapses without the prize being claimed, the prize shall be automatically voided, with no possibility of appeal.
5. DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with data protection regulations, we inform you that HIPRA is the data controller of your personal data, which shall be processed for the purpose of managing your participation in the Draw organized by HIPRA during the Congress. HIPRA shall process your personal data collected when contacting you in the event that you are selected as a winner, and when arranging your visit to HIPRA’s facilities in Girona (Spain).
All of this processing is based on the ground of the relationship arising from your participation in the contest and, where applicable, on HIPRA’s legitimate interest in managing and maintaining the relationship with participants.
Your personal data shall be retained for as long as necessary to manage the Draw and, once completed, for the legally established period and up to the maximum statute of limitations for any actions that may arise.
You may exercise your data protection rights by sending a request to privacy@hipra.com. Furthermore, you may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (www.aepd.es/en).

6. OTHER CONDITIONS
a) Participation in the Draw organized by HIPRA implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the participants. Any statement to the contrary, namely non-acceptance, shall result in the exclusion of the participant, and HIPRA shall be released from any obligation towards said participant.
b) HIPRA reserves the right to cancel the Draw at any time for justified reasons. In such cases, HIPRA shall not use the data provided by participants and shall proceed to delete them.
c) HIPRA reserves the right to exclude any participants whose behaviour may negatively affect the proper conduct of the Draw.
d) HIPRA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions if justified circumstances arise that could affect the objectivity and transparency of the Draw.
e) Any issue not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by HIPRA according to its best judgment.
f) Participation in the Draw implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including the application of any mandatory tax regulations.
7. SEVERABILITY
If any clause of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected, remaining fully effective. HIPRA reserves the right to cancel or make changes to the Draw and/or the prize offered, and commits to announcing such changes through the channels it deems appropriate, as promptly as possible.
8. JURISDICTION
The parties expressly agree to submit any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms and Conditions to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Girona, Spain, and expressly waive their right to any other jurisdiction that may apply, without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions.
