This session dealt with practical aspects of the disease, such as identification of the lesions that are produced by Newcastle disease, their location inside the respiratory tract and organs involved and the extent of the damage caused.

The course was supplemented with practical examples and a review of the administration of attenuated live vaccines and inactivated vaccines against Newcastle disease via the different routes.

The course also included a practical demonstration of necropsies at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
