HIPRA participated in the XVI European Poultry Conference (EPC), which took place in Valencia from June 24th to 28th and hosted 2,300 participants. As a Gold sponsor, HIPRA was present at the event with a 12m² stand where it showcased the most innovative and unique vaccines from its portfolio: the combination of the in-ovo vaccines EVANOVO® and GUMBOHATCH®, under the campaign Mix to Win.
HIPRA participates in the XVI European Poultry Conference in Valencia
The week began with HIPRA's participation in the Youth Programme, organized by the EPC, where we presented the company to young doctoral students attending the event. The main goal was to discuss professional opportunities in the poultry industry.
On Tuesday, June 25th, we offered an exclusive session for HIPRA's guests, during which various speakers, both internal and external to HIPRA, gave talks as part of the conference. One of the topics covered was a comparison of productive results in broilers based on the method of vaccination against coccidiosis, presented by Jesús Fernández, Veterinary Technical Director at INASUR. Another talk on resistance in avian coccidiosis was given by Joan Grau, Technical and Marketing Manager at HIPRA.
During the conference, HIPRA presented five scientific publications on the most relevant therapeutic areas and made two oral presentations. One was given by Enrique Carceller, Global Product Manager at HIPRA, who presented a study on the joint application of respiratory vaccines on the day of hatch. The other, in collaboration with the University of Padova, was performed by Claudia Maria Tucciarone, DVM, PhD in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, who presented a study on the prevalence of aMPV in broilers in Italy.
Additionally, HIPRA participated in the gala dinner offered by the conference, held at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. This occasion was a perfect opportunity to strengthen ties with different experts and companies in the poultry industry. Through this action, HIPRA once again reinforces its commitment to the poultry industry and further consolidates its position as a leader in solutions to prevent avian coccidiosis and Gumboro disease.
