HIPRA hosts the second Coccidiosis Control Congress (CONCO 23) in Thailand

HIPRA hosted the Coccidiosis Control Congress (CONCO 23) for the second time on 6th and 7th March this year in the Hua Hin Hilton Hotel (Thailand) following the success of the first edition in Cancún. This time, the two-day event focussed on the continent of Asia, with the aim of keeping the region’s producers and technicians up-to-date with the latest advances in the prevention of avian coccidiosis in broilers.

The coastal city of Hua Hin welcomed over 140 professionals from the poultry industry, who came together with experts in coccidiosis from all over the world who shared both their technical knowledge on this major disease and on the current situation on the poultry market.

They were also able to find out about the results obtained with the different methods of coccidiosis prevention, such as the use of live vaccines attenuated for precociousness.

In addition, as the event coincided with the VIV Asia Congress in Bangkok, HIPRA was also able to participate in this as a co-exhibitor with Royal Pas Reform, with 45,000 visitors from 120 countries around the world attending. From 8th to 10th March the visitors to the trade exhibition had the opportunity to discover the latest in in-ovo vaccination technology in the poultry sector.

With this initiative, HIPRA is reaffirmed as a reference company in helping producers to achieve excellence in the prevention of coccidiosis in poultry.
